Vilagarcía has seven cinema screens in the leisure complex by the yachting harbour. The multiscreen cinema Gran Arousa has modern and comfortable facilities in which you can see the latest productions of the American and Spanish cinematographic industry, besides some European films. As Gran Arousa belongs to an important distributor, it is guaranteed that premieres take place in Vilagarcía at the same time that in the main Galician and Spanish cities.

In addition, there is a film-club, called Adega, which organizes cinema seasons during the winter. The screenings take place on Thursdays, at 10.30 p.m., in the Gran Arousa cinemas.
