Vilagarcía
and the area of O Salnés are regarded as one of the regions
with better fish, seafood and vegetables not only in Galicia, but
also in Spain. That is why, in order to promote the products of
the earth of O Salnés and the sea of Arousa, many gastronomic
events take place in the whole area. In Vilagarcía are organized
two young, although already consolidates, gastronomic events: Semana
Micológica and Festa da Ameixa, not to forget the Mostra
do Albariño Artesanal. In 2003, and as a part of the San
Roque parties programme, it was introduced another gastronomic party,
in which cod is the protagonist. |
