The parties are one of the best opportunities to check the open and hospitable character of the people of Vilagarcía. Besides the pilgrimage of Santa Rita and the annual festival of San Roque, the summer calendar points out many dates, one for the party of each parish or neighbourhood of the municipality.

In fact, from the first day of June and until the end of September, it is almost impossible to find a weekend in which you do not hear the sound of orchestras, bagpipes and fireworks, not to forget the religious services that are the origin of the celebrations.
