
It
had a gothic origin, but its design is actually of the Renaissance
of the 16th century, with many elements of the 17th baroque period.
In its south wall, it has a pointed door. Inside the church, it
is remarkable the altarpiece from the Santiago de Compostela cathedral,
and outside, a beautiful stone cross, of the 17th century, with
stairs and plinth, and a column with delicately sculpted reliefs.
This stone cross was described by Castelao on is famous book “The
Stone Crosses in Galicia”.
