Nature and gastronomy are two of the most obvious artistic expressions in Vilagarcía. But the followers of the art also have at their disposal many chances to satisfy their spirit during the whole year, by means of the numerous exhibitions that take place in public or private exhibition rooms.

Sala de exposiciones “Antón Rivas Briones”
(council exhibition room)

This restored three-floor building takes in monthly or fortnightly exhibitions that provide the opportunity to come closer to unquestionably valuable cultural events. The agreements between the town council and other cultural institutions allow the arrival of important exhibitions to Vilagarcía.

Casa da Cultura
(municipal arts centre)

Located in the hall of the town assembly room and public library, it is the venue for exhibitions of emerging artists and collective samples. It is also a showcase for the work of the town associations.

Opening time: Winter, from 9.30 a.m. until 1.30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Summer, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
