It is also possible to arrive in Vilagarcía by sea, although in that case the options are much fewer. You can come in one of the cruises that call at Vilagarcía from April until October; or you can use the boats that cleave the Arousa Bay during the summer, connecting Vilagarcía with Cambados or with Ribeira (in the north shore of the bay), among other places.
